Dammy Krane, a popular Nigerian singer, has finally been released from police prison.

Dammy Krane was freed on Thursday, August 29, 2024, six days after being seized and jailed by Davido for supposed slander.

TalkTalk Nigeria recalls Dammy Krane claiming in a series of postings on his X handle that he was unjustly arrested by police on Davido's orders.

Verydarkman, or VDM, a popular social media critic, announced his release.

Dammy Krane apologized to Davido for the claims he made against him in a now-trending Instagram video posted by VDM.

VDM captioned the video, "Dammykrane it out, dear @davido, as you have honoured me by listening to my plea in less than 4 hours, God will honour you." I believe God is giving him a second chance, and I hope he stays focused on his music in the future.

In the video, Dammy Krane remarked, "I want to thank my brother very much. There are many words that should not be said. I'd like to apologize for Tagbo's death allegations. David is still my brother. And we are going to find a major ground to resolve everything.”
