NPFL: Babaganaru guarantees Akwa United will halt their dismal streak vs Kano Pillars
Mohammed Babaganaru, the head coach of Akwa United, remains optimistic that his team can put an end to their winless streak in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) this season.
The Promise Keepers have struggled so far, recording two draws and three losses in their first five matches.
They are set to take on Kano Pillars at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo this Sunday for matchday six.
Babaganaru expressed confidence that this game would mark a turning point for Akwa United's season.
In preparation for their upcoming match, Akwa United's head coach, Mohammed Babaganaru, emphasized the team's focus on converting their ball play into goals.
"We have only one thing to focus our attention on, and that is to ensure we translate our ball play into goals by making the best use of our chances during the match," he stated on the club's official website.
Babaganaru highlighted the importance of learning from past performances, saying, "We have thoroughly examined our past matches and taken note of our mistakes. We have worked on those noticeable lapses, and we know what to do to avoid a repeat of those mistakes as we go into the next match."
