Europa League: Lookman named Player of the Week
Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman has won the UEFA Europa League Player of the Week award.
Lookman impressed during Atalanta's 3-0 win over Olympic Marseille on Thursday night.
He will win the honor for the first time this season.
The 29-year-old scored once and assisted once in the match, which took place at Bergamo's Gewiss Stadium.
The former Everton player received the most votes ahead of AS Roma goalie Mile Svilar.
Lookman has 20 goals in all competitions for Atalanta this season (12 goals and eight assists).
La Dea will meet Bayer Leverkusen, the freshly crowned Bundesliga winners, in the final.
The match will take place on Wednesday, May 22, at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.
