2026 WCQ: Super Eagles get new date to open camp for Bafana game
The Super Eagles will now report to camp on Tuesday, May 28, before of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against South Africa's Bafana Bafana.
The players were originally expected to arrive in camp on Saturday, June 1.
The team will now arrive in Uyo three days early to begin preparations for the vital match.
Finidi George's team will face Bafana Bafana at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Friday, June 7.
They will also face the Squirrels of Benin a few days later.
The Super Eagles are in third place in Group C, with two points from two games.
Rwanda leads the group with four points, while South Africa is second with three.
