‘Nigerians now intolerant to mediocre music’ – Peruzzi warns colleagues
In his speech, the Chairman of Kebbi State FA , Abubakar Chika-Ladan, appealed to the Governor to sustain his support for sporting activities in the state.
According to popular musician Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, aka Peruzzi, Nigerians are becoming more discerning in their musical tastes.
He claims that Nigerians will no longer tolerate subpar tunes.
He advised his colleagues to improve their skills or they would be left out of the music industry.
Peruzzi stated that Nigeria is approaching a new era of outstanding music.
On his X account, he wrote, "Nigerians don wise." If you sing nonsense, they will clear you.
"Ordinary bit, dem don dey warn you. Clearly, it's time for some really nice music.
"Do your homework or comot body era."
TalkTalk Nigeria recalls that artist Ric Hassani recently lamented the decline in the quality of music in Nigeria over time.
Hassani observed that hit songs of years back were quality music but the current hit songs are “not very good music”.
