Odumodublvck Warns Colleagues: “Hating Wizkid Will Lead to Defeat”
Rapper Odumodublvck has called on Nigerian artists to end their animosity towards Grammy-winning musician Wizkid, warning that such behavior is counterproductive. In a recent interview with content creator Elsie in Toronto, Canada, the artist behind the hit "Wotowoto Seasoning" emphasized that hating on Wizkid equates to self-sabotage within the music industry.
Odumodublvck expressed that he wouldn't be offended if Wizkid chose not to promote a collaboration on his album, stating, "Some musicians appear to be doing you a favor when you release music with them." He elaborated, "I've never published music and asked the artist I featured to post it. I don't mind if you promote it. You've done the most important thing by giving me a verse."
He further added, "If Wizkid gives me a verse and my album is released and he doesn't post about it, I will not be angry. If you start hating on Wizkid Machala, you lose." His comments highlight the importance of collaboration and mutual respect in the industry, urging fellow artists to focus on their craft rather than harboring negativity.
