EPL: Arteta will not give up – Guardiola speaks ahead Man City vs West Ham

Pep Guardiola, Manchester City manager, has praised Mikel Arteta's "incredible" work at Arsenal ahead of the Premier League's last day of the season.


Guardiola's side increased their lead to 88 points after defeating Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 on Tuesday.

City are currently on the verge of winning their fourth title in a row, which is unparalleled.

Arsenal must now defeat Everton on Sunday and hope for an unlikely City collapse at West Ham.

Guardiola knows that his former assistant will not give up.


He told beIN Sports, "What can I say? He is a fantastic manager, given what they have accomplished with Arsenal this season.

"And he is not giving up; they will strive to win against Everton and see what happens. But it’s  what we want, the game depends on us…”
