Portable set to release song after release from custody
Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has returned to the studio after being released from police prison following a disagreement with a car dealer over a missed debt payment for his G-Wagon SUV.
On Thursday, the singer revealed a promo for her upcoming new song "Spiderman".
The song's title may refer to his unusual agility, as he attempted to flee police custody by jumping over an iron gate before being apprehended.
The song references to the singer's flying prowess by describing how he vaulted over a gate to avoid incarceration.
The arrest incident was filmed in a viral video that emerged on Tuesday, showing the singer scaling a barrier before fleeing.
Singer Peter Okoye of P-Square underwent successful hair transplant surgery in Istanbul, Turkey.
After spending 24 hours in detention, the "Zazuu" crooner was released after meeting the bail requirements.
Portable's controversial diary does not begin with Tuesday's program.
TalkTalk Nigeria remembers that he was arrested by the Ogun State Police Command in March 2023 for swearing and rough-handling certain Nigerian Police Force officers in two viral video recordings.
During an investigation into the incident, the police invited Portable, but he declined.
The authorities, enraged by his audacity, issued a 72-hour ultimatum and eventually detained him.
In another news, the singer was arrested by policemen in Ogun State and later arraigned on a five-count charge bordering on alleged assault and theft at the Ifo Magistrates' Court.
He was detained to the Ilaro Correctional Centre and later released after completing his bail conditions in 2023.
