Transfer: Akpom tipped to leave Ajax this summer

Chuba Akpom is scheduled to quit Eredivisie heavyweights Ajax Amsterdam at the end of this season.

Akpom moved to the former European champions from Sky Bet Championship team Middlesbrough last summer.

However, the 28-year-old has struggled to find consistent playing time at the club and has been linked with a move back to England.
According to Ajax insider Lentin Goodijk, the Nigerian-born striker may depart the club before the start of the next season.
