EPL: Pochettino reveals Chelsea game that gave him fear of sack
Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino, has picked the match that made him fear he would be sacked by the Premier League.
Mauricio Pochettino, Chelsea manager, has chosen the match that made him think he would be fired by the Premier League.
He cited the 4-2 home loss to Wolves in February.
As a result, the Blues dropped to the bottom part of the table.
When asked if he had ever thought he was about to be fired, Pochettino answered, "I can be honest. I think after Wolves. Remember what happened afterwards?
"I didn't think we'd be fired, but it was a difficult moment. That defeat at home was quite painful.
"At the moment, as a coach and staff member, you feel lonely. When you feel like everyone looks at you as if you're guilty of something and you don’t know what’s going on.”
Chelsea has, however, hit good form recently, winning their last four matches to climb to sixth place in the Premier League ahead of the final day of the season
