Damini Ogulu, nicknamed Burna Boy, has reignited the controversy over who is Nigeria's biggest musician with his bold claim on the remix of TitoM and Yuppe's viral South African song 'Tshwala Bam'.

The 'African Giant' singer openly declared in the first verse of the remix, which was released last week, that he is the godfather of Nigeria's music business.

"As long as Naija La was..."They call me Godfather," he sings.
Burna Boy has made no secret of his position as Nigeria's music business leader.

He created controversy years ago when he declared himself the "blueprint" of the Nigerian music business following his Grammy triumph.

His comrade Davido has also claimed the leadership of Afrobeats  the past.

On a track titled ‘Godfather’ in his fourth studio album, ‘Timeless’, Davido asserted himself as the godfather of the Nigerian music industry.
