EPL: William Saliba predicts what’ll happen to Arsenal next season
Arsenal defender William Saliba believes "big things are going to happen" for the Gunners next season, after the club narrowly missed out on the Premier League title for the second consecutive year.
This season, Arsenal won 28 league games, accumulated 89 points, and scored 91 goals, surpassing the total of the renowned Invincibles under Arsene Wenger.
Despite these great numbers, it was unable to secure their first Premier League title since 2004, as Manchester City kept the trophy and made history by winning it for the fourth consecutive year.
However, Saliba, who played every minute of Arsenal's Premier League season, voiced his feelings on Instagram. "Gunners, thank you for everything! This season's support has been overwhelming, and we felt it at all times. Next Season big things are going to happen. We will get there together. North London Forever.”
Saliba’s assurance offers a beacon of hope for Arsenal fans, suggesting that despite the setbacks, the team is poised for significant achievements in the coming season.
