Ayra Starr becomes first female Nigerian artiste to debut on Billboard 200 Album chart
Ayra Starr is the first Nigerian female artist to appear on the US Billboard 200 Album chart.
The singer accomplished the feat with her sophomore album, 'The Year I Turned 21,' which debuted at number 195 on Monday.
This week's #Billboard200 debuts include @ATEEZofficial Golden Hour: Part.1 (EP) at number two.

The album also marks the first time a female Nigerian musician has debuted on the UK Official Album Chart.
It debuted at No. 80 in the United Kingdom and No. 72 in France.
Burna Boy's "Love" Damini’ which reached NO. 14 remains the highest-peaking Nigerian album in the U.S. it’s also the first Nigerian album to top the UK album chart.
