NPFL: Mohammed reacts to Niger Tornadoes’ victory over Lobi Stars

Majin Mohammed, Niger Tornadoes' head coach, stated that his team's victory over Lobi Stars was difficult.

Mohammed believed that obtaining the most points from the game was all that mattered at this critical time of the season.

The Niger Tornadoes defeated the Lobi Stars 3-2 in a closely contested match at Kaduna's Ahmadu Bello Stadium.

Clinton Jephta, Bashir Usman, and Chidebere Ernest scored the hosts' goals in the encounter.

"Well, it was a difficult game, but the most important thing is the three points, and we thank God for that," he said in a post-game interview.

"Derby games are always not easy, especially playing a team like Lobi Stars, who have experienced players, as you can see when we score and think it's over they get back in the game but in the end, we got the points that matters."

Niger Tornadoes are 12th in the table, with 48 points from 35 games.
