‘During Jonathan’s regime, your voice was so loud’ – Eedris Abdulkareem drags Pastor Adeboye
In his new track 'Emilokan,' controversial rapper Eedris Abdulkareem takes aim at Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
In a verse, Abdulkareem accused Pastor Adeboye of dishonesty, alleging that he protested faulty administration during former President Goodluck Jonathan's rule but now claims "Nigeria has spiritual problems" under Tinubu.
He challenged the pastor to organize a one-million-man protest against President Tinubu's government, as he had done during Jonathan's administration.
The legendary artist stated that it was high time Pastor Adeboye spoke truth to power.
"Where is our Daddy, Pastor Adeboye? Your voice was extremely loud during Goodluck Jonathan's presidency. You even promised to organize a one-million-man march. Hunger and hardship under Tinubu's leadership, and you think Nigeria has spiritual difficulties," he raps.
"Baba, we need your one million disciples to resist President Tinubu's government in the same way you did against President Jonathan. Daddy, are your disciples' legs in pain?
"In truth, this is a huge hypocrisy. It's time for you to speak truth to power because starvation is killing Nigerians."
