EPL: Arsenal forward moves to join London rivals
Arsenal forward Reiss Nelson intends to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer.
The player is interested in joining Arsenal's London rivals Crystal Palace.
The player has decided to quit Arsenal after playing 15 league games but starting only one.
According to a report from Caught Offside (via TeamTalk), the player has previously spoken with the Eagles, who are also interested in signing him.
The Eagles are expected to lose Michael Olise, who was one of their top performers throughout the season.
In 19 Premier League games from 2023-24, the French U-21 forward scored 10 goals and assisted six times.
Chelsea is at the top of the list of clubs looking to sign the player this summer, and the Eagles will need a replacement if he departs.
Chelsea may agree to a swap deal in which Noni Madueke replaces Olise.
However, the Eagles have set their sights on Reiss Nelson after the forward reportedly stated that he has no intention of prolonging his career with Mikel Arteta's team.
The 24-year-old is surplus to requirements at Arsenal and is seeking more playing time elsewhere.
