Euro 2024: Rashford deserved to be dropped from England squad – Ten Hag
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has stated that Marcus Rashford deserves to be pulled from England's Euro 2024 squad.
Rashford, along with Jordan Henderson, Jack Grealish, and James Maddison, were notable absences from Gareth Southgate's roster.
Ten Hag has now stated that he was not surprised to see Rashford omitted.
Ten Hag, a pundit for Dutch channel NOS, said after England's 1-0 triumph against Serbia on Sunday: "Greaish and Rashford were both lacking this season.
"And when you are lacking, you risk not getting picked for your country."
Rashford scored only eight goals in all competitions last season, after scoring 30 the year before.
