Erik Ten Hag Celebrates With Jadon Sancho, Piers Morgan Blasts Ten Hag
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag praised Jadon Sancho's performance in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals against Paris Saint Germain. Despite a fallout with Ten Hag, Sancho left Old Trafford for Borussia Dortmund on loan and helped Dortmund win 1-0 in the first leg.
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is pleased with Jadon Sancho's performance in the UEFA Champions League semi-final encounter against Paris Saint Germain.
Jadon Sancho, who was embroiled in a dramatic fallout with Erik Ten Hag, forcing him to depart Old Trafford for his former club, Borussia Dortmund on loan, became the talk of the town after helping Dortmund defeat Paris Saint Germain 1-0 in the first leg of the semi-final tie.
While Sancho struggled to earn consistent playing time under Ten Hag at Manchester United, he has been a key member of Dortmund's squad this season.
On Thursday, May 3, media asked Erik ten Hag to remark on Jadon Sancho’s great performance against PSG on Wednesday, May 2.
Ten Hag stated, "So let me say this: he performed extremely well yesterday and is a very talented golfer. Yesterday, he demonstrated why Manchester United purchased him and how valuable he is to the club. Which is good.
"I'm happy for Jadon for the performance yesterday and we will see what is going to happen in the future."
Meanwhile, Piers Morgan, an Arsenal fan and legendary British broadcaster, has attacked Erik ten Hag for failing to effectively handle "world-class" players such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho.
Remember that, like Sancho, Ronaldo had a falling out with Erik ten Hag before to his bombshell interview, in which he openly lambasted United's administration and the Dutch manager.
Following the bombshell interview, Manchester United canceled Ronaldo's contract, forcing him to relocate to Saudi Arabia's Pro League team Al Nassr for a more lucrative agreement.
"The fact that Ronaldo and now Sancho are playing brilliantly away from United, and Rashford is struggling while still with them, suggests the real problem at the club isn't 'difficult' world-class players but a manager who doesn't know how to handle them" , Piers Morgan said in an interview with X on Thursday.
