Kano Pillars boss relishes win over Plateau United
Ahmed Garba, Kano Pillars' caretaker coach, has explained the reason for his team's remarkable away draw at Plateau United.
Plateau United held Pillars to a 1–1 draw at the New Jos Stadium on Sunday.
Sai Masu Gida took the lead thanks to a goal from veteran midfielder Rabiu Ali, before Sam Pam Jr equalized for the hosts.
Garba believed that with competent officiating, his side could achieve good results anyplace.
"We set up our team well tactically," he said in a postgame interview.
"With good and quality officiating, we believe we can win anywhere."
Kano Pillars have 49 points from 37 games this season.
The former NPFL champions will face Lobi Stars in their final game of the season.
