Euro 2024: Mbappe won’t need surgery on broken nose
Kylian Mbappé, France's captain, will not have surgery on his broken nose.
Mbappe was transported to a hospital in Düsseldorf after fracturing his nose during Monday's 1-0 win over Austria at Euro 2024.
There were concerns that the new Real Madrid striker might require surgery and could miss the remainder of the competition.
However, France Football Federation president Philippe Diallo has told ESPN that the team's medical experts determined Mbappé will be fine without surgery after conducting further tests.
Mbappe left the hospital at 1 a.m. local time and is back with the team.
He is scheduled to receive a unique mask before Friday's game against the Netherlands.
