Euro 2024: I made alot of mistakes – Portugal’s Bruno Fernandes
Bruno Fernandes, a Portugal midfielder, has admitted that he made 'a lot of mistakes' during his team's victory over the Czech Republic at the upcoming Euro 2024.
Fernandes played in Portugal's 2-1 win over the Czech Republic on Tuesday night.
Francisco Conceicao scored the winning goal in Leipzig to give Portugal a three-point victory over Czech Republic.
In his post-match interview, Fernandes informed reporters:
"We made a lot of blunders in the first half, particularly mine.
"There are two sides to risk-taking. I'm aware of this. The midfielders take bigger chances.
"But once I can pass the ball, I have a lot of talent in front of me to score goals.
"So I'm not worried about making mistakes, because it is part of the game."
Fernandes will attempt to lead Portugal to win over Turkey in their next match on Saturday.
