CHIVIDO 2024: ‘My wedding watch cost N1.2 billion’ – Davido
Afrobeats musician David Adeleke, often known as Davido, made a surprising announcement about his wedding wardrobe today.
In a video from the event that circulated on social media, Davido said that the wristwatch he wore with his first suit was worth $800,000 (about N1.2 billion).
"There's no phony watch, mehn. "$800,000, man," Davido said, showing his watch at the camera.
According to TalkTalk Nigeria, Davido created uproar when he claimed that his wife Chioma's engagement ring was worth three Rolls Royces.
His assertions were mostly accompanied by doubts, with former Big Brother Naija reality star Dee One pushing him to show a receipt to back up his claim.
