CHIVIDO 2024: ‘Money I took home didn’t tally with amount sprayed’ – Davido laments

Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, AKA Davido, has complained that the money he and his wife, Chioma, took home did not match the amount sprayed at their wedding.

According to TalkTalk Nigeria, dignitaries from all walks of life invaded Davido's grandiose wedding on June 25, 2024, spraying dollar bills in protest of Nigeria's Naira mutilation laws.

Davido commented on a video of guests showering his money during his wedding, stating that the amount sprayed did not match the amount he and his wife took home.

He composed the following sentence: "The video of all the money dem spray is and wetin we carry go house no dey tally." [sic].
