UK Election: DJ Cuppy endorses Labour Party, gives reason
Florence Otedola, often known as DJ Cuppy, a British-Nigerian disc jockey, has backed the Labour Party ahead of the United Kingdom's general election on Thursday.
The singer revealed that she supported the opposition to the incumbent Conservative Party because "sometimes a change is necessary."
She urged her UK admirers to vote for the Labour Party on Thursday, emphasizing that ballots "actually matter" in the UK.
DJ Cuppy shared photographs of herself with a 'Vote Labour' banner via her X handle, writing: "While it's unusual for me to take a side (and granted, no political party is perfect), sometimes a CHANGE is necessary! …In the UK, your voice does important, so GET INVOLVED this Thursday! "CuppyDat #GeneralElection2024 #GE2024 @UKLabour."
The composition of the House of Commons, which governs the United Kingdom, will be determined by the general election in 2024.
