2026 WCQ: Dele-Bashiru delighted with Super Eagles chance

TalkTalk Nigeria reported that Fisayo Dele-Bashiru is excited about the opportunity to play for the Super Eagles in front of his home fans.

The Hatayspor midfielder from Turkey is in Nigeria's team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic.

Dele-Bashiru was born in England and is returning to Nigeria for the first time in twenty years.
The Sheffield Wednesday player described playing for Nigeria as a great experience.
