‘Women’ re not treated properly in Africa’ – Joeboy

‘Women’ re not treated properly in Africa’ – Joeboy

Joseph Akinfenwaa Donus, nicknamed Joeboy, has revealed what inspired his popular song 'Better.'

The musician claimed that he wrote the song to raise awareness about domestic violence against women.

He revealed this during a recent interview with popular media personality Vivz.
Joeboy remarked that women are not always treated "properly" in African society.

The host stated, "'Better' is my fave song ever. In that song, it's as if you're standing up for a woman who has been mistreated by another man."

Joeboy stated, "Domestic abuse is a common occurrence in African society." Sometimes women are mistreated and not treated correctly. I wanted to bring attention to domestic violence against women.
