Euro 2024: SuperComputer predicts favourites to win trophy

A SuperComputer has projected the favourites to win the Euro 2024 championship.

The Euro 2024 tournament will begin on June 14 with hosts Germany versus Scotland at Munich's Allianz Arena.

However, according to Opta's SuperComputer, England is the obvious favourite among the 24 competing teams to win the event, which begins on July 14 this year.
Gareth Southgate's Three Lions now have a whopping 19.9 percent chance of winning the championship for the 17th time.

The odds on England reaching the quarter-finals are 70%, the semi-finals are 48.2%, and the final is 31.1%.

France was close behind, with a 19.1% chance of winning and a 30.4% chance of making the final.

Despite the benefit of playing at home, Germany has a 12.4% chance of winning the title.

Defending champions Italy, meanwhile, face harder odds, with only a 11.4% chance of making the final and a meager 5% chance of regaining the title.
