Ballon d’Or: He’s already best in the world – Bruno Guimaraes names player to win award

Bruno Guimaraes of Newcastle United believes Vinicius Junior should win the Ballon d'Or award in 2024 regardless of the circumstances.

Bruno and Vini have played together in ten Brazilian competition matches.

They are now preparing to represent their country at the Copa América in late June.

When asked by TNT Sports who he believes should win this year's most coveted individual football award, Guimaraes stated, "I believe it might be fundamental, and Vini has to be, no matter what happens.

"But I'm not the one voting or doing these things, so I believe it may weigh on him.

"We're going to do our best here to help Vini too because he's a kid who deserves it a lot and for me he's already the best in the world."
