VDM: ‘Come and arrest me too’ – Seun Kuti to Iyabo Ojo

Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has challenged Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo to arrest him.

This comes after the actress recently claimed that Kuti was one of individuals who helped controversial self-styled social media activist VeryDarkMan become a nuisance online.

Kuti denied being a "confusionist," describing Ojo as "an oppressor." According to him, he was just against Ojo arresting VDM, not their social media feud.

Kuti stated in a video statement posted to his Instagram account, "I'm not a confusionist. And at no time did I oppose you battling VeryDarkMan. I just stated you shouldn't lock people up.

"If you are angry I stated you shouldn't use the cops to oppress people, so don't be furious. Continue to be oppressive. Use the police to arrest everyone. In fact, come and arrest me. You are the billionaires and the proprietors of Nigeria; if you get angry, everything will erupt. So don't get furious.

"I apologize for myself and on behalf of VeryDarkMan. Please don't show off your power. [Hisses] Nonsense!"
