Transfer: Nigerian teenager Akinsanmiro is likely to join Sampdoria on loan.

Ebenezer Akinsanmiro is expected to join Serie B team Sampdoria on loan after leaving Inter Milan.

Sampdoria will have the option of buying the Nigerian next summer.

Inter Milan, the Serie A winners, put a buy-back clause into the transaction.

Akinsanmiro joined Inter from Remo Stars of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) in 2023.

The 19-year-old made his first-team debut on February 25, 2024, in a 4-0 league win over Lecce.

He replaced Davide Frattesi in the 76th minute.

The move to Sampdoria will allow Akinsanmiro to play on a regular basis.
