LaLiga: Barcelona gives Lamine Yamal a new shirt number
Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal will have a new shirt number beginning with the 2024/2025 season.
According to ESPN, the 17-year-old will be given the no.19 shirt, the same number he wears in Spain.
Yamal played with a youth team registration last season and will be formally promoted to the first squad for the 2024-25 season.
This will result in a new shirt number for the adolescent, who impressed as La Roja won Euro 2024.
Yamal has finally picked the No. 19 shirt, following much speculation and expectation that the wonder youngster would take over Messi's renowned No. 10 shirt.
