South African rapper Malome Vector dies in car accident
Popular Malome Vector, a South African rapper, has killed in a car accident.
Vector was traveling with musical collaborators Puleng Phoofolo and Lizwi Wokuqala when the accident occurred Wednesday evening in the Free State.
His old record company, Ambitiouz Entertainment, revealed the unfortunate tragedy in a post Wednesday evening.
Two others were reportedly taken to Boitumelo Regional Hospital with injuries.
"With heavy hearts, we lament the departure of a bright beacon: the Lion of Lesotho's sun has fallen. During this difficult moment, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his loved ones and industry peers.
The Free State Department of Health reported that "three men were declared dead at the scene of an accident on the N1 near the Koppies turn-off "close to Kroonstad.”
