‘Proud moment’ – Okonkwo after signing new Arsenal contract

Brian Okonkwo, Arsenal's goalkeeper, characterized his new deal as a "proud moment for him and his family".

Okonkwo and six other Arsenal players recently inked new professional contracts with the Premier League's North London team.

Speaking on Arsenal's website on Saturday, Okonkwo stated that he will continue to strive for new heights.

He stated, "It's a very gratifying occasion for me and my family. I've worked hard over the previous few years to accomplish this.

"It's a step for me to keep pushing to new heights and get more successful moments like this in the future."

Okonkwo made his debut appearance for Jack Wilshere's Arsenal Under-18 team in 2022/23.

Last season, he appeared three times for the Premier League 2 Division One Under-21 team.
