EPL: We have to be aggressive – Maresca lays out Chelsea plans
Enzo Maresca, the new Chelsea manager, has stated that he intends to impose a more aggressive style in the club.
Maresca was officially introduced as the Blues' new manager on Monday.
He replaces Mauricio Pochettino, who took the squad to sixth place in the Premier League last season.
Maresca, 44, led Leicester City to promotion from the Championship in his first season in charge.
"When you join a club, you attempt to figure out what the club and team need to improve and do the correct thing.
"For me, it is apparent that we must establish the correct mindset and culture as soon as possible, a culture in which fans can take pride.
"We are going to try to be an aggressive team on the ball and off the ball and we need to create this connection between the fans and the club, especially at home," Maresca told the press.
