EPL: Cucurella explains one thing Chelsea requires to prosper under Maresca
Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella has stated that the club requires'stability' in order to prosper under boss Enzo Maresca.
Maresca became Chelsea's seventh permanent manager in the past eight years in July of this year.
The Italian succeeded Mauricio Pochettino, who lasted only one season at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea started the season with a loss to Manchester City before winning their first Premier League game under the Italian, a 6-2 hammering of Wolves.
Maresca's side has won one of their three Premier League games this season.
"I'm happy, I think the coach we have is very good, he has very clear ideas," Cucurella told EFE, as reported by ESPN.
"We've been through several coaching changes throughout the years. Let's examine if we can achieve stability without making many modifications, and if the manager can communicate his thoughts.
"We need stability, we have very high-level players and, hopefully, we can have that patience that is needed, that calm so that everything goes well."
