Championship: Maja grabs hat-trick in West Brom's triumph over QPR

West Bromwich Albion defeated Queens Park Rangers 3-1 in their Sky Bet Championship match at the MATRADE Loftus Road Stadium on Saturday, with John Maja scoring a hat trick.

Despite West Brom's dominance throughout the encounter, the hosts took the lead in the 16th minute through Lucas Andersen.

Maja scored the equalizer 10 minutes later.

The Nigeria international gave the Baggies the lead for the first time five minutes after halftime.

The striker put the game out of reach for the hosts 25 minutes later, scoring his third goal.

Semi Ajayi, his international teammate, was also playing for West Brom.

Former Flying Eagles midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru played 90 minutes for Watford in their 3-2 victory at the Den Millwall.
