Mandojo, a Tanzanian singer, was assassinated after being mistaken for a robber.

Mandojo was beaten to death on Sunday, August 11, 2024, after being mistaken for a robber.

Confirming his death, singer Soggy Doggy stated on his social media profile, "My heart is in great pain; I will miss you very much, my brother and friend."

Rest in peace. Mandojo, human life is undoubtedly brief on this planet. Sorry brothers, family, and friends, and I'm really sorry to my brother @domokayatz. "God's work contains no errors."

His colleague Domo Kaya also paid respect in a message, saying: "Daaaah MY SON I don't think the 22nd of this month is supposed to be your birthday, Aisee why! This is so sad. Rest in peace. May God provide you eternal light, friend, brother.”

Mandojo was killed a few days to his birthday.
He is known for hit songs like Nikupe and Dingi.
