Real Madrid announced on Tuesday that it has reached an agreement with basketball player Usman Garuba to sign him for the following three seasons, ending on June 30, 2027.
The Spanish club confirmed this in a statement on their website.
"Real Madrid C. F. has agreed to a deal with Usman Garuba that will see the player join the club for the next three seasons, until 30 June 2027," Real Madrid said in part.
Garuba joined Real Madrid's development academy in 2013 and made his senior debut with the Real Madrid first squad in 2019.
The big forward played three seasons in the NBA, two with the Houston Rockets (2021-2023) and the last with the Golden State Warriors (2023-2024).
He won four titles in three seasons, including one league, one Copa del Rey, and two Spanish Super Cups.
