Mohbad's family wants other witnesses in singer's death.
The family of late musician Mohbad has requested anyone with information that can help with the ongoing inquiry into his death to come forward.
The family's legal team expressed worry that some sensitive material about the deceased's death had been shared with the public over the internet.
Monisola Esther, a member of the family's legal team, stated on Monday that such information should be made available to the police rather than the public.
"Given the nature of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba's death and the information that has been released to the public space that should have been given to the police, the Aloba Family's Legal Team wishes to advise that anyone with useful and relevant information that could aid in the search for and circumstances surrounding the singer's death should contact the Legal Team to facilitate proper legal connectivity."
"The police can also be contacted to ensure the safety of the witnesses and suspects." In addition, the coroner's inquest has summoned witnesses who are crucial to the investigation.
"Please be aware that Joseph Aloba does not wish to pursue any personal connections at this time. His interest is in learning more about what happened to his beloved kid and the circumstances surrounding his sad death.
"The Coroner's Court is the best forum to disclose any information that could assist in the fact finding mission of the court."
This comes just a few days after Karimot, Mohbad's sister-in-law, accused the singer's widow, Wunmi, of being involved in his death in a viral social media video.
Karimot also claimed to have implicating information on Mohbad's wife.
