NPFL announces a revised kickoff time for Rivers United against Heartland.

The Nigeria Premier Football League, or NPFL, has announced a revised kick-off time for the matchday two match between Rivers United and Heartland.

The match, which was supposed to take place at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium on Sunday, September 15, has been rescheduled for 3:00 p.

Rivers United announced the altered kickoff time in a statement posted on their X account.

The NPFL stated that the adjustment was made to accommodate live game broadcast.

"Our upcoming Nigeria Premier Football League matchday two tie against Heartland FC at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium on Sunday, September 15 has been given a new kick-off time, due to live TV transmission in Nigeria," the club wrote in a post to X.

Rivers United drew 0-0 against Bendel Insurance in their opening fixture in Benin.
