Dele Gold, a popular gospel singer, has died.

Dele Agbeyo, a popular Nigerian gospel singer also known as Dele Gold, has died.

Dele allegedly died on Wednesday following a brief illness.

Dele Gold's colleague, Alayo Melody, confirmed his death in a post on his official Facebook, writing, "Dele Gold died kee? Ahhh, this is getting too much!!! May God help us prevent this early death. Dele Agbeyo "May your soul rest well."

Dele Gold, commonly known as The Miliki Gospel King, was born in Usi, Ekiti State, but spent his childhood in Faforiji, Osun State.

His death occurred just a month after the death of gospel vocalist Aduke Gold.
