Rodri, EPL's Ballon d'Or nominee, chooses his two favorite midfielders.

Rodri, the 2024 Ballon d'Or nominee, has named Arsenal's Declan Rice and Jorginho as two of his favourite central midfielders in the world.

The Manchester City star is largely regarded as one of the top midfield players in the world.

The Spaniard has won 11 titles during his spectacular four-year tenure at Manchester City under manager Pep Guardiola.

Rodri spoke to ESPN before of Manchester City's Premier League match against Brentford on Saturday.

"If you ask me names, I think I will be unfair because I will leave some who deserve it," the 28-year-old said when asked about his favorite midfielders.

"But I'm not sure..." Let's say Declan [Rice] is doing something I really enjoy right now. Although it is not the same role I do.


“I love Jorginho, when he was in the best shape.


“In the past, for example, I would say [Sergio] Busquets, Casemiro, Xabi Alonso, these kinds of players that can manage the game.”
