Famous Nigerian music producer ID Cabasa has advised artists to be business-minded.

Cabasa offered the advise during a recent appearance at Toopsoul Studio.

Speaking on the Nigerian music industry, he emphasized the importance of musicians upping their game in the music creation business.
"You must bring much more to the industry than just your artistic abilities. You also need to be business-minded. Not just the business of making music, but also the intention of getting money from it."

Cabasa stated that musicians should learn to make good decisions while signing record contracts.

"One of the blessings God has bestowed upon you is the ability to choose. You have a choice of staying back or standing up walk away. It is not the business that is having the problem but our mindset.”
