'Don't murder yourself, seek pardon,' Portable advises Bobrisky.

Controversial Nigerian musician Portable has advised troubled crossdresser Bobrisky to beg pardon and reassess his lifestyle.

Portable made this statement after Bobrisky confessed that he was considering suicide following a N15 million bribery allegation involving him and several Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) personnel.

According to the TalkTalk Nigeria , in an Instagram post on Tuesday, prominent social media critic VeryDarkMan published a leaked audio of the crossdresser telling what happened during his four-month jail stint.

Bobrisky also said that musician Falz approached him about seeking a presidential pardon for him through his father, Femi Falana.

The viral tape provoked public indignation and prompted calls for an inquiry into alleged corruption within the EFCC and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).

Bobrisky responded to the uproar on Thursday with a statement on his social media website stating that he is suffering with suicide thoughts.

In response to the suicidal post, Portable recommended the crossdresser to seek God's pardon and embark on a path of redemption rather than attempting suicide.

Portable stated in an Instagram video: "Bobrisky, life is dangerous. God does not want sinners to die. Tell him to repent. If you die as a sinner, you will go to hell. Beg God to forgive you.

"Help me tell Bobrisky to ask God for forgiveness. All he needs to do is beg God for forgiveness of sins. If Bobrisky repents of his current situation, he will be able to enjoy the world."

Remember, Bobrisky was condemned to  four months in prison on April 12 2024, over his involvement in the abuse of the Nigerian currency, the naira.
