EPL: Arsenal, Chelsea narrow the gap on Manchester City following latest results
Arsenal and Chelsea have reduced the distance to Manchester City in the Premier League table.
This follows Arsenal and Chelsea's 4-2 wins in their most recent Premier League games.
Arsenal trounced Leicester City 4–2 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
Mikel Arteta's side won three points against the visitors thanks to goals from Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard, Wilfred Ndidi (own goal), and Kai Havertz.
Chelsea, on the other side, trounced Brighton 4-2, due to four goals from Cole Palmer in the first half.
Arsenal are now equal on points with Manchester City, who drew 1-1 with Newcastle United earlier on Saturday.
The Gunners sit in second place with 14 points from six matches, the same as Manchester City, but behind on goal difference.
Chelsea are in third position with 13 points from the same number of matches.
Meanwhile, Liverpool will move to the top of the Premier League table if they beat Wolves later today.
