Pep Guardiola's team leads second-place Brighton by five goals, followed by Arsenal in third and Liverpool in fourth.

Brighton, Arsenal, and Liverpool each have six points after winning two matches.

Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Chelsea, West Ham United, and Fulham round out the top 10.

This comes after the end of the Premier League match-day 2 fixture on Sunday.

Liverpool defeated Brentford 2-0 at Anfield, with goals from Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah.

Chelsea, for their part, defeated Wolves 6-2 to move to eighth place in the Premier League rankings with three points. The Blues lost 2-0 to Manchester City in their opening encounter last weekend.

Bournemouth, meanwhile, drew 1-1 with Newcastle United at home.
