Spryo, a Nigerian artist, has spoken out about his decision to adopt celibacy.


In a recent Instagram post, the musician revealed his internal struggle with premarital sex, admitting that while he enjoyed it, he felt guilty.

The 33-year-old singer claimed that after much thought and prayer, he decided to cut the links that brought him down that path.

"Sex felt good till I could no longer bear struggling with my conscience," Spyro had written.

"Every time I "FORNICATED" someone and realized I wasn't married to them, I felt distressed, as if a piece of me was torn away.


"I suffered for a long, but I kept praying for strength. When the time came, I disconnected from all residual connections...It hasn't been easy, especially when I travel and these clean girls start acting odd around me, and promoters never make it easy, but now they know, and yup, I am keeping this bed for ONE now," he stated.
