‘I recorded my hit songs sitting down’ – Wizkid

Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Ayodeji Balogun, aka Wizkid, has boasted that he recorded all of his hit songs while sitting down.

Wizkid stated in a viral video that he does not put too much pressure on himself to achieve success.

The 'Essence' hitmaker also stated that he dislikes advertising his songs and giving media interviews.
"All my biggest songs from 'Holla At Your Boy' to 'Soco', 'Joro', 'Ojuelegba', I recorded them sitting down," he admitted.

"You [P2J] know how things are in Lagos. You have been in my house. You know what I do. I'm just chilling. You got me, no worries.

"You see, I despise doing promotional stuff. You know what, man, I detest doing all that sh*t. I understand exactly what the people desire. [Producer] P2J is the only n*gga who.
‘All we have to do is turn on the mic. The amazing thing is that the world is now globalised, you don’t need anyone to lie to you.”
