Sabastine scored the game-winning goal four minutes from time, assisted by replacement Chukwuamaka Goodness Osigwe.
Nigeria is in second place in Group D, with three points and a plus one goal differential.
They are trailing leaders Germany, who now lead the group with three points and a plus-three goal differential after defeating Venezuela 5-2 in their opening game on Sunday.
The West Africans are now in second place, three points behind champions Germany, while South Korea and Venezuela are third and fourth, respectively, with zero points.
Nigeria will face Germany at the Estadio Metropolitano de Techo in Bogota.
Speaking with TalkTalk Nigeria, Yaba FC's assistant coach, Ahmed Omale, coached the Falconets on how to defeat Germany and win Group D.
Omale also complimented Nigeria on defeating South Korea in their opening match.
"First and foremost, I want to congratulate the girls on a fantastic game against the South Koreans," Omale told TalkTalk Nigeria.
"What Nigerians expected from the game [Nigeria against South Korea] was a win for the Falconets. They performed admirably and fully dedicated to the game, and I am impressed by their efforts.
"I want to encourage them that they should keep it up and the only way they can top the group is to commit themselves into the remaining two matches."
Do you think Nigeria has a chance against Germany, which defeated Venezuela 5-2 on Sunday?
Omale went on to say, "Based on what I saw on Monday against South Korea, I believe they will perform better in their next game against Germany."
"I know Germany won't be an easy game, but with commitment, effort, and hard work, I believe they can beat Germany in their next game and come out on top. "I wish them success," he added.
