Super Eagles: Appointing Guardiola won't halt criticism—Boniface
Victor Boniface claims that supporters would always criticize the Super Eagles, regardless of who is in control of the team.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has come under fire for failing to hire a substantive head coach for the squad since Finidi George stepped down in June.
Opinions are always divided on which coach (local or expatriate) should lead the team.
However, Boniface stated that he has no preference between locals and expatriates.
"The truth is that even if we bring in Guardiola, Nigerians will have something to say, but I'm the type of person who doesn't care what others think because they're not here with the team," the Bayer Leverkusen striker told Football Fans Tribe in an interview.
"Our job is to give our all on the pitch, and that's it. It is life. People will constantly criticize. So, regardless of whatever coach you send, people will always have something to say.
